If you have been in Austin for a while you might remember a  bar called “The Lounge” attached to Spaghetti Warehouse. This is the bar Lance Armstrong ruined with Six Lounge. Moving forward to current time, last night I stumbled upon a bar right next to Cedar Street called Peche. I was told this bar has been around for nearly a year. Where have I been? A pre-prohibition type of drink menu and atmosphere makes for a nice evening. Where else can you order a Moscow mule and a homemade Limoncello? Billed as an Absinthe bar, you will find drinks you have had on your travels and drinks you have never heard of. If you want to impress a group, you can order a specialty punch for a group of 12 at a cost of around $200. If haven’t been to Peche’s go check it out.
